Newly appointed CAS Vice President YIN Hejun made an inspection tour to CAS Institute of Acoustics on Mar.3. He conducted an in-depth survey on the institution by visiting research labs and having talks with administrators and researchers.

After listened to the Director ZHANG Chunhua's report and opinions from researchers, President YIN highly praised the achievements obtained by the members of IACAS. In addition, he put forward some detailed requirements for 2008 and asked the institute to do further work in strategic research, talents cultivating, platform building and intensive administration.
