Mr. SUN Hong, Mr. SHEN Jianzhong from Social Development Department of Ministry of Science and Technology and Mr. SUN Qing from the Administrative Center for China's Agenda 21 paied a visit to IACAS on Apr.3. The related members of IACAS attended the discussion seminar with the visitors.
Firstly, Deputy Director ZHANG Chunhua introduced the most recent developments and achievements obtained by IACAS in the marine technology field. Since the "11th five-year plan", our institute totally undertook 11research programs or subjects affiliated to "863 Program". Owing to the hard work and joint efforts of all the members, IACAS made big progress in researches and cultivated many of excellent scholars. Director ZHANG also extended sincere thanks for the help we got from "863 Program".
Mr. SUN Hong, Deputy Director-General of Department of Social Development of Science and Technology listened to the report carefully. He put forward valuable advice and set great hope to IACAS in the future research.
