As an annual convention for spreading scientific knowledge to the public at the Public Science Day, IACAS opened its doors to the public on May 17.

On this day, many special laboratories were open to all walks of life in the public. The visitors had a thorough understanding of the institute and acoustic studies by many forms of activities, such as lecturing sessions and exhibitions on popular science, including the face-to-face communications with scientists, several large-scale and sophisticated experimental facilities.

Up to now, such a large-scale and annual drive of the activities of popular science has been held for 3 years successively. The activity gained wide and positive results from the public and became a repertoire for wide spreading acoustic scientific knowledge in our institute.
