On Jul.2, Weak Signal Detecting and Processing Laboratory held a lecture on patents application in Room 501 of Dezhao Building. The lecture given by Ms. YANG Xiaorong titled: "Patents and its application".
Ms. YANG illustrated the lecture from the following aspects, such as what's the function of application system, the basic knowledge, how to apply and so on. At the beginning of the lecture, Ms. YANG told us the potential patents were characterized with three features: novelty, creativity and utility. She made a detailed explanation on software patents and registration. Then, she taught us how to write patents technology direction with some practical examples. The lecture benefited the audience a lot and let us realized the importance of patents protection.
